Founding Rust Engineer

We're building the first decentralized, zero-trust cybersecurity platform to defend America's energy infrastructure. Our technology ensures every grid connection is inherently secure, resilient, and verifiable. We work with the largest utility and energy companies in the United States, national laboratories, and other critical infrastructure stakeholders to understand their most pressing security challenges and build solutions that protect the backbone of our society.

Your Role:

• Design and implement high-performance security solutions for energy systems
• Develop embedded systems software that integrates with industrial controllers and grid infrastructure
• Analyze business requirements and regulatory compliance needs, translating them into technical specifications and implementation strategies
• Work directly with major utilities and government entities to deploy solutions at scale

What We're Looking For

• Strong Rust expertise with proven distributed systems experience
• Advanced knowledge of Tokio and async Rust patterns for building scalable concurrent applications
• Familiar with Nix ecosystem including flakes, derivations, and shell environments
• Deep expertise in networking protocols and network programming
• Track record of architecting and building production systems from scratch
