Rust Engineer - Prediction Markets

We’re working with a fast-growing hedge fund operating at the frontier of prediction markets, trading infrastructure, and quantitative research.
Their mission is to uncover inefficiencies, design systems that exploit them, and scale those into systematic edge across both centralized and decentralized markets.

This is a lean, execution-focused team of world-class researchers and engineers with deep domain expertise. They’re now expanding their Prediction Markets desk and looking for exceptional Rust engineers to help build and scale high-performance trading systems from the ground up.

About the Role

You’ll be joining a small, elite team responsible for building one of the most technically advanced trading systems in the market.
You’ll work closely with researchers to translate models into production-grade, low-latency systems that execute trades on decentralized prediction markets.

This is a greenfield environment — no legacy codebase, no bureaucracy. You’ll have ownership from architecture and implementation to deployment and optimization.

What You’ll Do

Design, build, and maintain high-performance Rust systems for trading and execution
Collaborate with quant researchers to integrate models and pipelines
Implement and optimize APIs for prediction market platforms (e.g. Solana, Polygon)
Own the entire development lifecycle: design, testing, deployment, and performance monitoring
Contribute to architecture discussions and long-term scalability planning

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in Rust (or C++ with motivation to switch)
Deep understanding of systems programming, concurrency, and low-level optimization
Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design
Familiarity with Python for research integration and tooling
Comfortable in fast-paced, research-driven environments
Curious, ambitious, and eager to learn new systems and markets

Nice to Have

Experience with prediction markets, automated decision systems, or quantitative trading
Exposure to machine learning pipelines or statistical modeling
Experience with Solana or blockchain-based trading infrastructure

Location

On-site in Lugano, Switzerland preferred (tight collaboration with the core team)
Hybrid possible for exceptional candidates (e.g. Zurich, Zug, or Milano)
