CmdScale was born from the conviction that software development must be different: Less overhead, more substance. Fewer promises, more results
Since our founding in 2020, we have consciously chosen a different path. Instead of rapid growth, we have invested in quality. Instead of chasing technological trends, we have focused on proven solutions. The result: A hand-picked team of experts who are unparalleled in Germany.
What you can expect from us:
Direct involvement in projects: With us, you'll start directly in exciting projects after a quick and appropriate onboarding phase – with full autonomy. Of course, your work buddy will be there to support you every step of the way. You'll interact with clients as an equal and can implement your ideas and solutions. We value personal responsibility and clear structures – our success is based on the expertise and commitment of our employees.
Responsibility & Freedom: You'll take on advisory roles and actively develop code – from initial client contact to project completion. You'll help our clients find the perfect balance between future-oriented technologies and economic sustainability. You'll have the opportunity to advise clients according to your own ideas and visions. Modern technologies and scalable architectures will be central to your work, while you always keep current best practices in mind. You'll have the freedom to independently find the best solution, without being restricted by regulations. For us, results are paramount – and your well-being is what matters most, so you can reach your full potential.
Open company culture: You'll work in an environment characterized by open communication and the exchange of ideas. We passionately discuss technologies and the latest tech trends, and we know exactly where to find the necessary resources for the next project. Here, you'll be among like-minded individuals who support and develop each other to reach their full potential.
Open-source-first culture: In a growing internal open-source community space, you'll find like-minded people for exchange and further development. A portion of your working time is also reserved for OSS.
Strong as a team: With us, you're never alone – we place great value on mutual support and a strong team where everyone helps each other to achieve success together. The CmdScalers work closely together and support one another.
Flexibility: We offer you the variety and freedom to work on multiple projects simultaneously or switch between them. We tailor the projects to your needs so you can utilize your strengths. Enjoy a work-life balance that you can plan yourself. Whether you're a night owl or an early bird – work whenever you perform best or whenever it fits into your life.
Secure job & fair pay: We offer you a permanent, full-time position with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Germany or in our Munich office. Our salary range is €70,000 to €85,000, but your performance is worth every penny to us – if you excel, you'll earn more.
Requirements:
Practical experience rather than a purely academic background:
A completed degree is not required – what's important is that you have already made independent technology decisions and implemented projects using two to three programming languages. You should also enjoy learning new topics
Technical expertise and decisiveness:
You can understand, structure, and implement complex technical concepts. You possess the ability to independently familiarize yourself with new topics and maintain a clear overview at all times.
Communication skills:
You can express yourself confidently in professional discussions in German and English and represent yourself clearly and confidently in both languages – both in team and customer contact.
Analytical and solution-oriented thinking:
You are enthusiastic about innovative technologies and have the ability to use them in a targeted manner in consulting and development processes.
